I love when people take the time to write little encouraging notes. I wish I did it more. My latest article at Forthright is about a message I recently received. A sweet friend wrote about my dad and the influence he had on her.
When I think about the 9 years I had with him, it's hard to process the fact that it was only 9 years. To a child, nine years is a long time. But as I look back today, 9 years was a blink of an eye.
